Replace it with any other browser you like, but Firefox, Safari and Opera will do nicely. They each offer speedy browsing, tabs for separate pages, and quickly updated version.
You will feel so much better without IE6 ...

Death March of Internet Explorer v6
It's time to get rid of the ancient and ghastly Internet Explorer version 6. It was useless when it started in 2001 and it's positively antiquated now.
